It's the little things...
..that count in style. It's your personal signature and whether that changes with the season or stays the same, it's your signature that sets you apart.
Here are a few things that you can do this season to embrace your own personal style.
Choose what's right for you!
Scarves - I always get asked how to wear scarves and this season there are fun ways to wear them, that I just love:
You can tie them around your bag - no need to match colours or patterns or textures - note this is a casual bandana tied onto a fancy bag.
You can tie a scarf around your ponytail for French Riviera chic!
Instead of necklace, use a scarf, so elegant!
Start with a thin scarf, twirl, then use if as a belt.
Longer sleeves and large cuffs: Long sleeves got longer and cuffs wider!
Note the high waisted jeans in this outfit below with exaggerated cuffs on the shirt:
Chokers: From Gothic to modern edgy, chokers are back this season!
Velvet: In a previous post on shoes, we talked about velvet shoes. Well, velvet is everywhere in fashion and home furnishings too, for this season. The 3rd image shows the daytime wear of velvet PJ's.
Layered sleeves; wear a skinny long knit top under a short sleeved blouse that is a bit more roomy in the sleeve - very easy!
Here is a casual street look with graphic T's over long sleeves:
Here are some other ways to wear long sleeves under:
Long sleeved turtle neck under cropped top and note the shoes and socks look.
Sheer long sleeved top under dress.
Which ever trend you choose this season, make it one you love; love to have fun with, love the way it feels.
Happy styling!
